WE TAKE PRIDE IN PROVIDING 1:1 CARE TO OUR PATIENTS!
Work with a physical therapist who will take the time to listen to all your concerns and look at them from different aspects. Using a hands-on approach, we treat athletes in the gym, on the field, and in the office. jiu jitsu practitioners, soccer players, and runners love the 1:1 attention to recover from all of the tweaks and injuries that come up for athletes.
Recovering at a faster pace is high priority whether you’re a weekend warrior or a college athlete. We take a collaborative approach working closely with your personal trainer, coach, and healthcare team to get you back to play in just a few sessions.
Our patients have said, “if I had come here a little earlier, my knee would be better faster.”
We are in-network with all the commercial insurances like Aetna, Cigna, Horizon Blue cross blue shield, Medicare, workers compensation.
I’m Akanksha Rathod, owner of Nee’s Physical Therapy. I’d like to share my story with you and the history of the office you are now a part of.
The office I spent the most time in prior to starting my business, I gained experience working with orthopedic conditions varying from frozen shoulder to post-operative cases. During that time, I learned how to make a huge impact on pain within the first 3 visits. What was missing was being able to spend quality time with each patient.
In November of 2023, I started treating patients in their homes, my home, and in a small room downtown. By April of 2024, our community outgrew this model and we moved into a beautiful office space with lots of natural light for our patients to unwind during their treatment sessions.
We chose the name Nee’s Physical Therapy to represent my mother, Neeta, and mother-in-law, Neerja. We want to continue the legacy of our families forward and promote widespread healing and wellbeing. When you come into our space, you will feel the care and compassion of a friend’s home, not a typical doctor’s office.
I’m so grateful for the other like-minded health and wellness experts who share the same values of providing holistic care to our neighbors in Hoboken. I’ve even partnered with Crunch on Washington where I see patients before or after their workouts. Everyone on our team shares the same level of passion while they’re caring for you. Even my husband (who is not a PT) is supporting our practice growth behind the scenes!
I’m building a practice for the people who take their health seriously, want to be proactive about their health and recovery, and are looking for a partner in their physical therapist.
At Nee’s Physical Therapy our slogan is, rediscover the joy of pain free living. And that is because getting back to your recovered state is our first priority.

Nee’s Physical Therapy was created with the vision of providing compassionate quality care. Our mission is for our neighbors to have access to a physical therapist they can trust and rely on for their medical care. We believe in providing holistic care in a welcoming environment with experts in the industry.
Our doctors have been selected to be ready on the sidelines during Cricket Matches and Basketball Tournaments. In the clinic we work with athletes that participate in Jui-Jitsu, Soccer, Tennis, Football, Golf, Badminton, Pickleball, Hiking, and Running Events. We partner with Crunch Fitness and regularly come into the gym to treat our neighbors after their workouts.
Sitting or standing for long hours at work can lead to back pain also known as Sciatica, neck pain sometimes called Tech Neck, and wrist or thumb pain that can be coming from Carpel Tunnel or DeQuervian’s Syndrome. We are experienced in Ergonomics and have helped our patients achieve pain-free work environments with specific posture education and desk modifications.
We also address posture and positioning for optimal pain-free sleep. The most common complaints causing sleep disturbances are neck pain and uncomfortable sound effects and low back pain that isn’t immediately relieved with simply changing positions. We have patient education ready to improve sleep posture and help our patients sleep through the night.
As a Herman Wallace Level I provider, we offer external pelvic floor care only. We address symptoms of pelvic pain, vaginismus, coccydynia, urinary incontinence, stress incontinence, dysuria, and frequency. We also offer care for pre and post-partum. Functional pelvic floor sessions are held in a private treatment room, patients are in active wear, and symptoms are addressed through an orthopedic lens.
